In the womens race the victorie went to reigning winner Irene Kinnegim, who's 9'29"38 was good for a 19th place overall. Second and third place went to Carla van Rooijen and Marleen Vos.

It As often happens in these (relatively) short distance races, the race was decided in the final metres. The difference with the second athlete (Irish Bryan Keane), was no more than 1 second. French Brice Daubord came in third after 16 seconds.

The ladies race was won by British Jodie Swallow. In just 2'01"44 she was 12 seconds faster than Czech Radka Vodickova. Third place went to German Anne Haug.
